We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our 2015 (Premium) Malbec and 2014 Malbec Reserve!
Our ruby red 2015 Malbec expresses a complex bouquet of plum jam, fresh cherry and cassis. Flavors of juicy plums, dark berries and gentle earthy flavors typical of grapes grown in the Uco Valley fill the mouth. Our Malbec is medium bodied with gentle tannins and pleasant fruity flavors. This elegant wine pairs nicely with a wide range of foods or is easy drinking on its own. Don’t let the year fool you. . .this juicy baby is delightful drinking now and will continue to age gracefully for another 5-8 years.
And introducing. . . . drum roll please. . . .our 2014 Malbec Reserve. This crowd pleasing beauty actually won an 80 person (room full of vineyard owners and wine makers with discerning palates) blind tasting out of 10 different wines in it’s class!
With a deep violet color our Malbec Reserve has a lovely bouquet of ripe plums, fresh mint with gentle oaky notes. Our well-balanced, pure Malbec wine is juicy, with blackberry jam and caramel flavors, firm tannins and good complexity. Thoughtfully aged for 18 months in new and second use French oak and in the tradition of world class Malbecs, this wine offers an elegant palate and lingering finish.
These wines are available in select wine bars, restaurants and specialty markets or can be shipped directly to your door in CA, OR & AZ (for only $10 - bottles or full case). And for other states we can find a way.
